Congrats E!!!

Yeah!! I am so happy. My sweet scrapbooking/blogging friend Elizabeth (who also keeps me supplied with books in English while I am out of the country!!) is having a BIG day today.

Her book is coming out today!! After so much hard work and so many long hours, The Scrapbookers Almanac is finally finished and November 1 is the bid release day!! I am so proud of her, and I can't wait to get my hands on this book and pour over it!!

Way to go E! I think this is absolutely wonderful!! You are one sweet gal, and I am so very happy for you!!

PS-- My I-like-to-go-to-bed-early hubby took this pictures for me last night when he really just wanted to be in bed. :o) When he finished, I grabbed the camera from his hands and began scrolling through. I grimaced several times and he asked what was the matter. "Wow, my face just looks really fat in some of these. Have I gained weight?" I asked. "Honey," he replied, "This isn't about you; this is about Elizabeth." Way to dodge the question Babe!! Here are four more Congrats wishes for you E! Can't wait to hear how your day went!!

This and that

I am late in posting these. But what else is new?? :o) Wyatt lost three teeth in one weekend (He had lost the other bottom tooth awhile back.). So now has all four front teeth gone. So very, very cute. Love it!!

Austin competed in a national tournament with his B-ball team and they won third place. Lots of fun to see him play and do well!
Zach, our oldest, just had an incredible concert with his choir. He is part of an invitation (after weeks of auditions) only a capella choir at his school. There are a group of about 25 students (jr high and high school) and they sounded wonderful. I was really impressed. Unfortunately the neat old theater where they held the concert doesn't allow cameras. So I have no photos. But they sing at a music festival in a few weeks so I will try to get some then!

I also celebrated another year in my wonderful and blessed life! I don't dread birthdays. I love them. I celebrated with my family at home. A good thing. Here is a shot of me with my four sweet kiddos. Love these guys to pieces!!

And one more attempt at a family self portrait! There are just a lot of us and my arm can only reach so far! Sorry Chloe for almost squishing you out of the photo. But don't worry I'm sure your crazy Mom will reach the camera out again soon for another group shot and she'll be more careful not to cover your up the next time!! :o)
